Driver Non-CDL

Overview:

The Driver Non-CDL position is responsible for the daily delivery of building materials and millwork to varying job sites. This position also helps with loading materials accurately and efficiently on to the trucks. The Driver Non-CDL acts as a highly-visible representative of Shepley on job sites and on the road.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Making safe and timely deliveries and picking-up returns from job sites.
• Assisting in loading trucks and completing required documentation of each delivery.
• Inspecting vehicles on a daily basis.
• Checking truck per DOT and completing DOT forms.
• Acting as a positive representative of Shepley on job sites and on the road.
• Providing excellent customer service both at Shepley's locations and on job sites.
• Following all safety requirements both on and off the road.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Cape Cod towns, map reading, and millwork materials preferred.
• Motivated and professional. Interested in obtaining their Class B CDL license is a plus. (We also welcome candidates who already have their CDL license.)
• Simple math skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude are required.
• High School diploma or equivalent needed.
