Additional Compensation Details: $28.00 Hourly Dependent on Experience and Location of Role Potential 90-day performance-based raise Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure. Responsibilities Schedule 6:00am - 2:30pm, with Tuesday and Saturday off The Role In this position, the Ripening Assistant will be responsible for moving product within the ripening rooms and buildings and receiving/shipping areas while following a schedule. It is a fast-paced environment where the volume of inventory requires a high level of tracking and following proper procedures using the warehouse management system to maintain inventory integrity by following best practices. Job Duties: Operates using Warehouse management systems and equipment Receiving, QC, unloading inbound loads Forklift and Riding pallet jack operation to move product as needed to ensure inventory is available on time for shipping Assists other warehouse ripening areas when current tasks are complete Maintains a safe and clean operating work environment Work independently Qualifications Required Experience: Must have intermediate English skills (reading/writing/speaking) Must have basic computer skills Must have warehouse experience 1+ years of experience working with forklifts (stand-up and/or sit-down) Previous experience with RF scanners in a warehouse environment Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills Inventory experience Core Knowledge/Skills: Excellent time management and team working skills Commitment to quality Strong attention to detail and accuracy Hear from Charlie's employees Supplemental Information This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
