POSITION SUMMARY
Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. Operating forklift in the warehouse and production areas of the plant. Responsible for moving units of lumber.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to sit and/or stand for shift, reach with hands and arms, stoop, squat, bend at the waist, kneel, walk varying distance, and climb stairs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be able to tolerate all weather elements, loud conditions, airborne particles (sawdust).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations and Job Safety Analysis'.
- Comply with all company rules and regulations
- Ability to operate forklift in a safe and efficient manner
- Loading and unloading of dry kilns
- Communicate with Stacker Operator and Packager regarding lumber production flow
- Confirm that inventory is tagged and stacked correctly
- Insure that lumber is stacked correctly
- Keep work area clean at all times
- Conduct required pre-operating checks on equipment prior to use
- Consistently keep a production level work pace
- Perform a quality checklist on stacked lumber for every shift
- Other duties as needed.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Skills:
- Prior industrial forklift experience (25,000 lb. or more)
- Ability to use and read precision measurement devices
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test, post-offer pre-employment physical, and background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver's license
