Job Summary:
Dump Truck Driver will transport materials to and from various locations. The driver will drive trucks equipped with open beds that allow for the transportation of dirt, rocks, sand, gravel, and other materials. We are looking to hire a dedicated dump truck driver to transport various materials to construction sites.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely drive a truck, pick up, and deliver materials to various locations according to schedule.
• Understands how to safely use cranks and levers inside of the truck to dump contents of bed and tilt body.
• Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
• Supervise the loading of materials onto the truck and inspecting the truck for any mechanical issues before and after every trip.
• Must operate and set brakes.
• Flexibility with hours; drivers are required to go out of town periodically.
• Drivers must maintain a clean and safe work truck with regular maintenance inside and out.
• Drivers must complete, review, and maintain material delivery tickets accurately and must be able to accurately keep DOT records.
• Before and after trips, drivers must inspect trucks and equipment, including fuel, oil, tires, lights, and water levels.
• Perform all duties in accordance with the company safety rules and DOT road regulations.

• Ability to correctly identify types of materials being hauled to ensure accuracy for deliveries and ensuring that they do not exceed weight restrictions.
• Be able to safely drive and operate the truck in all weather conditions.

Education and Experience:

• Must have a Class B CDL and valid Medical Examiners Certificate.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating a standard dump truck.
• Clean driving record/MVR
• Knowledge of DOT Rules and Regulations and construction site safety.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to drive and work in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to use hands to operate truck. Must be able to climb, kneel and crawl.
• Must be able to physically wash the outside of the truck and maintain a clean interior.
• Must have good vision for distance and depth perception.
