Description
RESPONSIBILITIES: Drives truck with capacity of more than 3 tons, to transport materials to and from specified destinations.
Prepares deliveries for daily shipments.
Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain customer site access badges.
Prepares deliveries for daily shipments.
Loads material on truck and secures cargo during transit.
Drives truck to destination. Prepares receipts for loads picked up.
Collects payment for good delivered and for delivery charges.
Maintains truck log, according to state and federal regulations.
Maintain telephone and radio contact with supervisor to received delivery instructions.
Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential that applicant possess a valid CDL driver’s license
Required to pass a DOT drug test and physical
Must possess some knowledge of assigned area
Experience with Microsoft Office
