Compensation: Starting pay $25.00 per hour + benefits

The Delivery Operations Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and optimizing the delivery process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers. A person who sets an example for the team by wearing multiple hats and works as Operations Manager, Fleet Manager, and Back-up Delivery Associate as per DSP business operation needs.
What You'll Do:
As a member of the A3N Logistics LLC leadership team, this role involves coordination with the Amazon team, monitoring performance metrics, implementing process improvements, ensuring a seamless delivery experience for customers, growing, and developing team members, coaches, and team leads. You can expect to work 4 days per week and up to 10 hours per day.

What You'll Need:
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in delivery operations management, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in using delivery management software, route optimization tools, and data analysis platforms
  • Knowledge of transportation regulations, safety guidelines, and industry best practices
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges
  • Eligible to work in the U.S
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must have a valid driver's license within the state of employment
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Delivery Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive delivery strategy to meet customer demands and business objectives
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Amazon to align delivery processes with safety expectations, on time departure/delivery, and customer service goals
    • Forecast delivery volumes, analyze trends, and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Team Management and Supervision:
    • Lead, train, and manage a team of delivery drivers, coaches, and daily operation supervisors
    • Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing operational costs
    • Closely monitor and manage payroll goals based on routes performed and future commitments
    • Provide guidance and support to the delivery team, addressing any performance or operational issues
    • Setting team expectations and upholding processes/procedures fairly across the board
    • Identify, coach, mentor and develop upcoming talent
  • Route Optimization and Scheduling:
    • Plan and optimize delivery routes to minimize travel time, fuel costs, and vehicle wear and tear
    • Use route planning software and tools to monitor the delivery process and improve efficiency
    • Monitor route performance and make adjustments as needed
    • Provide daily route optimization suggestions to Amazon utilizing feedback tools
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates, delivery accuracy, and customer satisfaction
    • Analyze daily and weekly reports and insights on delivery operations performance for management review
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary
    • Continuously assess and enhance delivery processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction
    • Ensure deliveries are made in accordance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards and Amazon Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
    • Conduct regular audits and quality checks on deliveries to maintain service excellence
    • Conduct regular ride along and pop ups to provide coaching and feedback to all team members
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Liaise with customers to address delivery-related claims, concerns, and feedback
    • Maintain effective communication channels to provide transparency and updates on delivery status
    • Ensure 100% customer contact compliance metrics are met across all Delivery Associates
