**Job Description:**
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Monitor and assess the progress of laboring mothers.
- Assist with childbirth and provide post-delivery care to mothers and newborns.
- Educate and support mothers and families throughout the birthing process.
- Administer medications and IVs as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and decisive action.
- Participate in continuing education and stay updated with labor and delivery best practices.
