Your Role at KIK
Join us as a skilled Forklift Operator! Safely operate forklifts and handle material with precision. Conduct inventory tasks, load/unload materials, and ensure compliance with Hazmat rules. Utilize warehouse management systems, perform packing, and maintain quality standards. Contribute to a safe and clean work environment, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Standards. Be a vital part of our team—apply today! This position has an hourly rate of $21.00 , in addition to an annual incentive bonus.
What You’ll Be Doing
Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment
Conduct inventory tasks, including cycle counts and product checks
Load and unload materials from trailers, ensuring proper handling
Efficiently move materials in and out of racking systems
Execute loading documentation processes, adhering to Hazmat rules
Operate the plant's warehouse management system and RFID technology
Perform packing and quality checks to meet specified standards
Ensure final product quality, seeking guidance when needed, and contribute to a safe and clean work environment
Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures
What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience
Maintain visual concentration, alertness, and intense listening ability for extended periods
Demonstrate physical agility, including standing, sitting, lifting, bending, crouching, reaching, and climbing consistently for twelve hours
Possess manual dexterity to grasp and manipulate various packaging components
Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
Adhere to Health and Safety and GMP regulations
Lift up to 45lbs. from floor to shoulder level and work overtime, when necessary
Work in diverse environmental conditions, including exposure to unpleasant odors, non-temperature-controlled settings with high temperatures and humidity, potential high noise levels depending on location, and constant interaction with various chemicals and chemical products
