Delivery Tech Architect -
Role and Responsibilities
•    Lead, coordinate and administer all aspects Data & Analytics projects for clients in Western Canada; including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, communicating and controlling the project and technical oversight ensuring quality project deliverables.
•    Work closely with stakeholders, such as business analysts and end-users, to understand the data requirements of a system or project.
•    Working with offshore delivery centers to deliver quality goals and outcomes for clients
•    Lead onshore and offshore project teams from a technical perspective by providing guidance on best practices/standards, reviewing client deliverables, and feedback
•    Building new opportunities; including architecting a program, developing teams and project estimation
•    Work with various implementation methodologies (waterfall, hybrid-Agile and Agile) to plan and implement solutions for clients
•    Plan the delivery of the overall project and its activities in accordance with client mission and goals
•    Liaise with other project managers and team leads to ensure effective and efficient delivery
•    Coordinate the delivery of services among different project activities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
•    Support go-to-market team with responses to client RFP’s and go-to-market initiatives
 
Key Functional Skills
•    Client facing / business stakeholder management: Ability to lead client conversations, develop new opportunities and turn them into revenue generating initiatives.
•    Self-motivation/accountable: Motivating themselves to stay focused and on-task helps model that behavior for others on the team
•    Analytical skills: strong data analysis skills and know how to appropriately evaluate metrics for informed decision making
•    Communication abilities:  communicate with a large number stakeholders that span across the business and IT through both verbal and written communication
•    Problem-solving capabilities: creative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
•    Leadership: strong leadership skills to the team in order to meet their goals and objectives of the client

Required Technical and Professional Expertise 
•    Minimum 7 years of architecting data solutions, roadmap development and enterprise data modernization experience, or with at least 10 years total IT experience.
•    Consulting experience across Cloud Application/ Integrations/API/ microservices. 
•    Must have recent experience (2 to 3 projects) as Lead working with a client as a consultant
•    Experience in working with client groups and knowledge in developing ways to resolve issues related to the program and project management area. 
•    Capacity for managing several parallel initiatives, identifying and balancing priorities. 
•    Experience with SQL/T-SQL, Python, C#, No-SQL, ADF, Event Hub, Databricks, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, CosmoDB, Git, Azure DevOps, modern architecture design principles. 
•    Experience with Historical Data Migration, Bulk Data Migration, Technical Documentation, Creating ERD Diagrams, Data Engineering via ADF Databricks

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise 
•    Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect
•    Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator 
•    Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer
