Job Summary
A Tractor Trailer Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of products using tractor trailers. The role involves loading and unloading, following DOT regulations, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Job Description
- Experience Required: None
- Experience Desired: 1 to 3 years in tractor trailer driving, knowledge of DOT regulations, and city driving experience.
- Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification or Licensing Required: Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL), clean driving record, and DOT medical requirements
- Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
- Travel Required: Regional - Daily, More than 50%
- Age Requirement: At least 21 years of age
- Job Responsibilities
- Load and unload products using pallet jacks
- Drive tractor trailers in a safe and courteous manner
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean working environment
- Communicate effectively with store personnel and company management
- Perform safety checks on equipment
