Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and experienced Crane Operator to operate various types of cranes on construction sites and industrial locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of crane operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
This position will be on site in Reading, PA
Schedule: 6:00am- 2:00pm| Weekends as needed| Overtime as needed
Crane Operator Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment on construction sites or industrial settings.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on cranes to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Follow safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations and accurate placement of loads.
- Interpret signals and instructions from ground crew to ensure precise movements.
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and address minor mechanical issues as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2-3 years) operating various types of cranes (e.g., tower cranes, mobile cranes).
- Strong knowledge of crane safety regulations and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, load charts, and other technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
- Valid and current drives license with ability to pass a background check and drug test according to federal guidelines
