Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Show Low, AZ

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)

**Shift:** 12-hour Nights (6 p.m. - 6 a.m.)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum of 3 years
**License:** Active RN License
**Certifications:** ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NIHSS, NRP
**Must-Have:**
- 3+ years of Labor & Delivery experience
- Proficiency in fetal monitoring and handling fetal distress
- Experience caring for patients with pre-eclampsia
- Ability to manage OB emergencies until provider arrival
- Experience with C-sections
**Job Description:**
- Participate in a unit with 7 Labor & Delivery beds, 2 Triage beds, and 10 Postpartum beds
- Handle 1-3 births per day, with around 830 births per year
- Maintain ratios typically of 1:2
- Work alongside Respiratory Therapists, Patient Care Technicians, Health Unit Secretaries, OB scrub techs, and other support staff
- Occasionally float to Emergency Department or Medical-Surgical units if experienced
- Manage weekend shifts per a 4-week schedule minimum
- Handle on-call responsibilities one shift per 4-week schedule
- Engage with nurse managers and a 24/7 pharmacy within the facility
- Occasionally provide couplet care if census is low
- Use Allscripts - Sunrise for charting
- Engage in professional development with extension approvals typically granted following workforce meetings
