Position Summary
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for learning and understanding of assigned functions related to their site Warehouse operations team. This process is accomplished through hands-on learning, understanding, and adhering to all safety standards, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and customer requirements with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Key to this role is learning and developing skills and knowledge to take on additional duties, expand capabilities, and enhance personal skills.
Responsibilities
Understands warehouse layout and functionality of scanners and DSI software to perform all the transactions required to successfully complete all the different tasks across all functions. Work associated with safe operation of PIT equipment.
Ability to operate material handling equipment, electric hand trucks, walk along pallet lifts, hoist, and other equipment as needed. Active participation in daily Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) verification list at the beginning of each shift. Communicate any issues to the Supervisor that prevents the unit from being used. Conducts equipment check list verification of trailers before and after unloading.
Adheres to cGMP standards in completing relevant paperwork, following good documentation practices, and performing quality control checks.
Escalates issues related to safety, quality compliance, and equipment status. Communicates needs or other support as needed.
Participates in all required housekeeping (5S), cleaning, and sanitation.
Successfully completes required training.
Minimum Qualifications
Education
HS Diploma or combination of equivalent education and experience or knowledge required.
Certification
Must be able to complete PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) driving test and certification training
Experience
Minimum 0- 2 years warehouse experience.
Working knowledge of warehouse processes or a combination of skills, knowledge, and demonstrated ability to learn recommended.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Requires:
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and communicate, good manufacturing practices, safety practices and manufacturing standards as required.
Demonstrate basic math skills, to include addition, multiplication, and division, with use of electronic device, to calculate inventory counts from each case to ensure correct amount of product is picked for sales, work orders and replenishment lists for production areas. Perform transactions using our system and scanners to fulfill work orders daily.
Computer skills, including the basic use of MS Word and Excel.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment and with continuous change initiatives.
Self-starter with the initiative to understand and learn additional operations.
Learn specific functions determined by area of operation.
Physical Requirements
Required to stand while Operating PIT Equipment for the entire shift, stopping at multiple rack locations while picking up cases of different sizes and weights to stack on pallets. May perform repetitive job duties during training and rotations depending on assignment. Intermittently lifts and or move loads unassisted of up to 40 pounds and over 40 pounds with the use of pallet jacks (manual or powered), two-person lift, pallet jack, or other mechanical aids. Manual dexterity to manipulate equipment controls, and hand tools.
Environment
Operating conditions may vary by department and area. Employees are required to wear all PPE for the assigned department.
Safety
The Warehouse Technician must be able to perform this job safely by following standard operating procedures and good warehouse practices without endangering the health or safety of themself or others. Required to wear steel-toed shoes and protective eyewear and or any other PPE requirements.

Annual Pay
Annual Pay Range
$35,568.00 - $53,608.00
This represents the minimum and maximum base salary range for this role, plus annual incentive. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws.
Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime.
Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee's supervisor.
