Each member of our team plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless and reliable experience for our customers.By joining United Site Services, you will be part of an organization that values continuous improvement, teamwork, and excellence in every aspect of our business.Primary PurposeThe Technician-NHLW Grease operates a company service truck and drives to various locations to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal for customers.Essential FunctionsPerform complete pre-trip inspection including but not limited to checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controlsDrives pump truck to and from customer sites and disposal areasPump grease out of restaurants and other commercial tanks. Cleans/rinses tank with a water hose.Read route sheets and services each customer as assigned by the dispatcher and/or supervisor and takes notes on the tickets with delivery/pick up detailsMaintain vehicle operating efficiency by completing preventative maintenance requirementsMaintain safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulationsMaintain delivery, vehicle and driving records by obtaining receipt acknowledgments, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and vehicle performance formsWork continuously with dispatcher to confirm routes and update with any issues or changesCourteously interacts with customers, supervisors, and fellow employees. Submit all paperwork on a scheduled timeframe to dispatcherWash exterior and interior of truck and cab, under frame, tires, and wheelsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsCustomer ServiceTeamworkTime ManagementCommunicationsDecision Making and Problem SolvingAbility to read, understand, and adhere to the rules and regulations of the Federal Transit Administration and U.S. Department of TransportationAnalytical skills, with the ability to problem, solve effectivelyExcellent attendance and punctualityExcellent customer service skills and professionalismAbility to recognize vehicle maintenance needsExcellent oral and written communication skillsSafe driving record (DMV documentation required)Valid Driver License (Class CDL B or higher)Physical RequirementsSit while driving and stand while servicing products.Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls.
