Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Pomona, CA

**Job Title:** Registered Nurse**Job Specialty:** Labor and Delivery**Job Duration:** 13 weeks**Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week (Up to 3 shifts can be canceled during the assignment)**Experience:** 2 years required**License:** Valid state license required at time of submission**Certifications:** BLS, AWHONN Advanced, NRP Advanced (must include all 11 components), Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AFM)**Must-Have:** - Vaginal Exam Ability/Experience - Baby Care Ability/Experience - Experience with <100 to >300 Births **Job Description:** - Manage labor and delivery care for patients in a Magnet, Teaching, Level II Trauma Center. - Work closely with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver quality care. - Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. - Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality. - Meet weekend requirements by working 2 weekends every 6 weeks, including possible Friday nights. - Participate in a comprehensive orientation with 24 hours provided. - Utilize Cerner for charting and documentation. - Engage in non-billable module training of 3-6 hours during orientation, recorded on facility report. **Note:** COVID-19 Vaccine, including the current booster, is required, with no exemptions. Return staff must be absent for one year before applying. First-timers and local applicants are accepted at the same rate. Block scheduling and floating to meet facility needs are not accommodated. Scrub attire should avoid camouflage or character patterns.
