At Chandler Gilbert Arc we believe that all persons should be provided the opportunity to develop to their fullest potential and are seeking Drivers to help us achieve that belief. As a Driver, you would provide transportation services to individuals with developmental disabilities who are transported by Chandler Gilbert Arc. This position is Part-Time with morning and afternoon shifts available. Responsibilities include:

• Provide safe and reliable transportation to passengers transported by CGArc
• Ensuring all passengers are properly seated and secured in vehicles
• Ensuring people in wheelchairs are safely secured
• Ensuring proper supervision of passengers
• Following all safety protocol including reporting of accidents, following all traffic safety laws, and ensures the safety of all passengers
• Maintains daily trip logs and other related paperwork

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma/GED
• Drivers must have a clean 39 month MVD report and be insurable under agency's insurance
• Possess or ability to possess an Arizona Driver's License
• Ability to obtain an AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card and pass an extensive criminal background check
• Experience working alongside individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities is preferred
• Knowledge of local area addresses and streets, etc preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift individuals (around 35 to 50 lbs) if required
• Operate an agency transport vehicle
• Be physically able to perform First Aid/CPR and Behavioral intervention techniques if required
