TransForce is seeking a local Full-Time Class B Truck Driver in Dallas, TX, with a competitive pay rate of $22.00 per hour!
We are seeking a skilled Class B Truck Driver with at least 2 years of recent box truck experience. Truck Driver must have warehouse experience and certification in operating a stand-up forklift, as this role involves spending 80% of your time in the warehouse and 20% driving.
Truck Driver Position Details:
- Driver Shift: Monday to Friday, starting at 7:30 AM
- Local Driving: Truck Driver will operate an automatic 26-foot box truck, handling light touch freight while transporting packaging materials and equipment.
Truck Driver Requirements:
- Must possess a recent DOT Medical Card
- Clean MVR and stable work history are essential
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and deliver freight using a box truck and other equipment
- Utilize material handling equipment for safe loading and unloading
- Driver must maintain required documentation, including daily logs, vehicle inspection records, and shipping records
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring proper closure of trailers and documentation
- Provide basic equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions promptly
- Truck driver is responsible for securing loads properly and ensure compliance with weight limits
