The Department:

Welltec is recruiting for a Service Delivery Manager for its operations in Williston. We are seeking strong candidates with service experience in the oil and gas industry.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Investigating all Incident Reports, both HSE and Quality
  • Implementing procedures to improve service quality in both the field and workshop environments and ensuring Standards of Performance are being followed
  • Communicating regularly with the Operations Manager to inform progress of ongoing field operations
  • Distributing “Lessons Learned” and “Quality Alert” emails
  • Developing and implementing ‘Best Practice’ procedures where lacking or needing improvement
  • Developing documentation related to streamlining the entire field process and striving for continual improvement
  • Overseeing and coordinating all planning and execution of jobs for their area of responsibility, in coordination with local management
  • Ordering equipment using the ordering system, in coordination with local management
  • Planning and documentation for non-standard operations
  • Conducting field audits, both HSE and Quality
  • Client contact inclusive of meetings, presentations, lunch and learns, and problem solving
  • Preparing monthly reports, special projects, and tool performance reports as required by management
  • Liaising between Operations and Sales
  • Keeping competence overview updated for area of responsibility
  • Compiling weekly activity reports for Operations Manager
  • Attending and making informed contributions at meetings with the Operation Manager and Management
  • Maintaining and updating field audit records
  • Auditing redress documentation and Master Asset Tracking
  • Interacting with customers in a professional manner at all times
  • Following on-site procedures as outlined by customer/consultant
  • Exhibiting excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The Preferred Candidate:

The preferred candidate has the following profile:

  • Degree in petroleum engineering or other engineering disciplines
  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience with progressive experience managing field operations and personnel
  • Relevant experience in Oil and Gas
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to problem solve, work with hand tools, and interpret blueprint diagrams
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities
  • Fluent in English language – both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio software
  • Valid Class Driver’s license and clean record (required)
