Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in San Leandro, CA

**Shift:** 12 hours, 07:00 PM to 07:30 AM
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
**License:** Registered Nurse License in the state where care is provided
**Certifications:**
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program
**Must-Have:** ACLS Certification
**Job Description:**
- Coordinate and manage the Labor & Delivery unit with a focus on high-quality patient care.
- Oversee nursing staff, provide leadership and guidance to support staff development and foster a collaborative environment.
- Implement and uphold healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure safety and compliance.
- Monitor patient progress and collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess and adjust care plans.
- Utilize strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and ensure staff adherence to documentation standards.
- Enhance patient care through continuous evaluation and improvement of nursing practices.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
- Five or more years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery within the last two years.
- One year of high-risk labor and delivery experience within the last two years.
- High-risk OB experience.
