Job Title: Forklift OperatorJob DescriptionOperate sit-down forklifts to move and handle materials within the facility.Assist with production tasks as needed, including general labor duties.Ensure materials are safely and efficiently transported to designated areas.Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.Perform basic addition and subtraction calculations as required.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.Essential SkillsAt least 2 years of sit-down forklift operating experience.Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.Experience within an industrial/manufacturing environment.High School Diploma or GED.Ability to stand for the entire shift and perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, moving, and lifting up to 40 lbs.Strong initiative and safety consciousness.Willingness to work 1-2 hours of overtime per day and on Saturdays if converted to a permanent position.Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates will be trained on all procedures.Ability to perform basic addition and subtraction calculations.Why Work Here?Join a large operation with ample opportunities for upward mobility. The facility is large, open, and relatively loud, with provided hearing protection. It can get hot or cold depending on the weather. The facility employs around 125 people, with approximately 50 people on the day shift and 40 on the swing shift.
