Experience Required:
- Minimum:
- Education requirement varies by field of instruction:
- For Commercial Driver’s License (CDL): High School Diploma or GED
- Industry license in field of instruction if required by industry.
- 3 years of experience in training/instructing others in the field
- 5 years of commercial driving industry experience
- 5 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Preferred:
- 7 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment
- 10 years of experience in the field of commercial driving
- Working knowledge of federal/state government education regulations
- 7 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
- Previous experience as an academic program director
- Experience in student guidance, or related field
The CDL Program Director is responsible for providing leadership for the CDL Program. Responsibilities include curriculum development, revision, and implementation. The Program Director provides face-to-face product knowledge training and engages with potential students during orientations. This role also involves hiring, assigning, orienting, developing, evaluating, and recognizing instructors within the program.
The CDL Program Director monitors and supports the student population, advising students during their provisional period and addressing academic progress concerns. The role requires analyzing student data to identify at-risk students and providing necessary support.
Continuous improvement of the program is essential, including data collection for performance analysis and feedback sharing with the Academic team for curriculum enhancement.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
