The Senior Director, Global Medical Education & Customer Experience Delivery will work above Therapeutic Areas and collaborate closely with various teams to develop and maintain an integrated omnichannel strategy.

This role involves ensuring that GSK's science and data are effectively communicated to the right audiences through the most relevant channels to address medical unmet needs. This role will also partner with Medical Digital & Tech to continuously improve omnichannel strategies, processes, tools, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain an integrated omnichannel (OC) strategy to ensure effective communication of GSK's science and data.
  2. Work closely with Commercial Cx Leads to develop OC Plans, including attitudinal segmentation and detailed customer journey maps.
  3. Track and ensure OC readiness of Global Medical teams and MCT LOC adoption of materials.
  4. Develop OC acceleration plans to address issues and provide Medical team omnichannel upskilling as needed.
  5. Guide the use of impact measurement tools and use feedback to optimize future initiatives.
  6. Partner with Medical Digital & Tech, MAE, and Digital Fuel to improve omnichannel strategies, processes, tools, and resources.
  7. Ensure new processes and tools are fit-for-purpose to enable personalized medical communications and impactful customer experiences.
  8. Adopt and champion new approaches for developing and executing omnichannel scientific communications.
  9. Keep pulse on omnichannel needs and changes in key markets and Global teams to help improve and optimize future initiatives.
  10. Execute on virtual trainings related to Congresses (pre and post) for all Tas (priority congresses only).
  11. Lead Medical Symposia Planning for priority congresses and execution of the symposia.
  12. Lead publication updates/alerts emails.
  13. Lead independent medical education activities across TA.

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

  1. Advanced degree in science, medicine, or pharmacy.
  2. 10+ years of related innovation and scientific communication medical affairs work experience.
  3. Leadership experience managing direct reports, including hiring talent and career development.
  4. Experience in the strategic planning of new asset launches.
  5. Experience with professional networking and engaging with a variety of senior key stakeholders.
  6. Experience working in a complex matrix environment.
  7. Experience resolving issues of internal stakeholders and negotiating appropriate strategies.
  8. Experience working with Copy Approval requirements.
  9. Track record of working in successful cross-functional teams.
  10. Analytical, logical thought process with proven track record of strong matrix management, facilitation, and project management skills.
  11. Solid technical capabilities in Excel, PowerPoint, and Team sites.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  1. 5 years + experience in a related area.
  2. Postgraduate degree (PhD or PharmD).
  3. Local, regional, or global medical or R&D experience.
  4. Scientific communication strategies for large global markets in US, UK, EU, China and Japan.
  5. Familiarity with existing GSK platforms (e.g., Content Lab, Team Site, Workday, MS Teams, and GSK intranet).
  6. Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and present complex data.
  7. Effective time management, ability to clearly identify priorities, and manage multiple tasks.
