Lead Warehouse Support/Driver - FastServ

SUMMARY:
Under supervision from the branch manager, the warehouse lead coordinates and oversees the daily operations of the warehouse and all warehouse staff. The lead is responsible for ensuring that orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner, that the warehouse is organized and safe, and that staff members are supervised and trained.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years previous warehouse/material handling experience.
• Delivery driving experience A+.
• Clean driving record required.
• Customer Service/counter sales

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES:

• Basic math skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Computer literate.
• Communication skills to communicate with management and co-workers.
• General knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
• Counter Sales

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Manage and coordinate the daily operations, including shipping and receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and returns processing.
• Manage warehouse staff and ensure their tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and supplies and order new items when needed.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean and organized and that safety protocols are followed.
• Train and supervise warehouse staff, including new hires.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Other duties as assigned by the branch manager.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Moderate physical effort and use of motor skills requiring manual dexterity.
• Regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
• Lift, lower, carry product up to 70 lbs.
• Warehouse environment – work in hot/cold temperatures through the seasons.
