Forklift Operator-Cooler

POSITION: The Forklift Operator is a motivated and highly organized individual who is part of the Warehouse operations located in the Transportation Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:

• Safely unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them in assigned places.
• Transport stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify any damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Inspect machinery regularly to ensure proper function and safety.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory and activity logs to track movement and storage of products.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, and legal guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with order filling and receiving duties when necessary.
• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Skills & Certifications:

• Experience with 3-deep pushback racking (not stationary racking).
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

• Valid forklift operator certification.
• 1-2 years of experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a cold storage environment (32°F).
• Excellent physical condition and coordination.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
