As a Non-CDL Hook Driver on the DTG Recycle Team, you will be part of a community of valued employees who work together and create an environment that is welcoming, caring and trusting . What you will be doing
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Must be able to operate trucks in residential, commercial, DTG recycling yards and on construction sites as well as public roadways including highways and interstates.
- Drives to customer's site and loads up metal or other materials and brings it back to our yard.
- Take appropriate safety precautions while driving.
- Cleaning potential road hazards such as debris, rocks, mud, dirt, sand, gravel, plastic, roofing etc. off can sides, rails, and doors as well as truck bumpers, truck fenders, truck wheels and truck frame rails, will need to do as needed prior to leaving job site or yard.
- Drive a small non-CDL hook truck on a predetermined route and schedule.
- Document deliveries or log other shipment information.
- Communicate with the dispatcher.
- Responsible for the safe operation of the truck.
- Other job duties will be added as needed.
- Valid WA State driver's license
- Current Medical Card
- Clean driving record and background.
- Able to pass a drug test.
- Availability for occasional Saturdays.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
