Forklift Operator $19ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections.• Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift • Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS. Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry.• Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning)• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy• During the seed delivery and return season: ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations• Maintain safety standards - initiate & follow emergency procedures when necessaryPREFFERED EXPERIENCE• 1 year of forklift experience• 1 year of warehouse experience• Prior forklift certification is preferredSKILLS • Ability to count accurately when moving inventory • Ability to read scales • Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented • Being alert and aware when driving the forklift in a safe manner • Ability to communicate and work by yourself or with a team • Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift.• Maintain enthusiasm, good attitude, honesty and a willingness to treat all with respectIf this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
