Job Summary

Comcast Advertising's Strategy and Operations organization works across Comcast Advertising's businesses, including Effectv and FreeWheel, and Comcast Cable teams to enable advertising solutions and drive value for our clients and internal partners. The organization is hiring a VP of Program Delivery that will be responsible for organizing, defining, prioritizing, and delivering a portfolio of programs that realize significant business value. To be successful in this role, you have extensive experience dissecting and translating an organization's high level business objectives into programs, workstreams and timelines. You've applied a methodology to clarify prioritization across competing and various strategic, compliance, revenue generating and operational improvement initiatives. You're successful working in a matrix organization where you leverage data, process and partnership to align stakeholders across business, product and technology. You are skilled at developing visual representations of a portfolio of programs and their status for executive leadership. You are a strong collaborator capable of leveraging those within and outside of your team to deliver fast when needed. You have led a team of program managers and have a track record of growing talent through coaching and upskilling.


Job Description

Core Responsibilities:

  1. Lead a team of business leads and program managers that partner with clients internally and across Comcast to plan and deliver business priorities, advertising capabilities and solutions.
  2. Build relationships with client, business, product and technology executives.
  3. Analyze current state processes supporting program delivery and prioritization and recommend improvements to realize greater transparency, efficiency and alignment.
  4. Create and implement governance processes, deliverables and communications that provide clear and consistent communication of progress towards portfolio/account and/or program objectives to an executive audience.
  5. Be the single point of accountability for program delivery across several clients and portfolios of work.
  6. Communicate strategies and direction effectively across the organization.
  7. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  8. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:

  1. 10 years of experience leading program delivery and/or strategic planning for a business with deep governance, program management and executive communication skills, ideally honed through prior work experience at a top tier consulting firm.
  2. Experience leading priorities through a project delivery lifecycle and gaining commitment from all cross-functional stakeholders including product and technology, for those priorities requiring solution development, testing or configuration.
  3. Experience analyzing current state processes for gaps and optimization opportunities, then leading delivery and alignment of recommended improvements across all impacted stakeholder groups.
  4. Experience implementing and governing a prioritization methodology to stack rank a diverse (e.g., strategic, compliance/regulatory, revenue generating, operational improvement) list of priorities.
  5. Business and capability roadmap creation.
  6. Client relationship management and value creation.
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to work in an un-structured environment.
  8. Strong operational mindset with a decisive get it done and whatever it takes mentality.
  9. Advertising industry experience preferred.

Master's Degree
