Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Seaside, OR

**Job Description:**
- The position does not require floating between units.
- On-call duty is not required.
- Weekends are required, with an average of every other weekend.
- Block schedules are not required.
- Expected ratios follow AWHONN standards.
- The RN may float to help with tasks if the OB census is low but will not take on a patient load and must be available to return immediately if an OB patient presents.
- 48 hours are approved, if needed.
- The facility is a critical access type with 23 total staffed beds.
- Scrub colors are flexible; provided for OR/L&D.
- COVID-19 vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed.
- RTO (Requested Time Off) of up to 6 days total or 3 consecutive days can be auto-approved. Extensive RTO requests may delay the offer process.
- Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day.
- References required, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years. The year does not need to be consecutive.
- Candidates may float within the hospital or nearby affiliate hospitals, as detailed in the job description.
- All travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state. Refusal to float may result in termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
- If required, communication devices necessary for the assignment will be provided. If not provided, a reimbursement for work-related cell phone use is available.
