Forklift Driver

JobForce is a leading provider of workforce solutions, dedicated to connecting skilled workers with top employers. We are currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented Forklift Driver to join our client's team.
Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is moving completed pallets from the lines. The pallets must be carefully placed and stacked or loaded onto trucks. Must also move & unload delivered pallets and carefully place in designated areas.
Responsibilities:

1. Maintains the standard flow of materials according to specified routes whether in receiving, in process or shipping
2. Performs the daily safety check sheets and reports findings of unsafe conditions.
3. Handles scrap disposition and reports in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Moves pallets from the line with a forklift and places them in designated areas for additional work or to be loaded.
5. Loads and unloads trucks and trailers using proper documentation.
6. Operates the forklift in a safe and responsible manner as to not jeopardize equipment or employees.
7. Performs accurate inventory counts.
8. Retrieves stacked product safely and load trucks efficiently
9. Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.

1. Must be Licensed by Client Company's Safety Coordinator
2. Must have the ability to count product and complete simple paperwork.
3. Good understanding of the manufacturing flow.
4. Good understanding of pull systems and buffer management.

1. Ability to perform repetitive tasks; stretch, turn, twist, and reach; bend, crouch, squat, kneel and stoop for extensive periods of time.
2. Ability to operate forklift, dolly, hand truck, pallet truck, carts, and other equipment necessary for loading and unloading freight.
3. May require long hours of standing, sitting or and bending
4. Ability to lift up to 50lbs in some material handler's duties.
5. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, with/ correction.
