Cogir Senior Living is hiring a friendly, customer-focused, and attentive Driver in our premier retirement community Solista Gresham by Cogir.
Our Driver will operate the community bus, ensuring the safe transportation of our active residents to and from various destinations, such as appointments or activity group outings, assisting them with safe onboarding if necessary. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday.

What will you do as a Driver?
Provide safe, reliable, courteous, and efficient transportation service for the residents to and from various human service locations, work sites, educational institutions, medical facilities, grocery stores, drug stores, and others.
Assist residents in and out of the vehicle, utilizing the wheelchair lift/stairs as needed; opening, and closing doors, and loading/unloading walkers and wheelchairs, as needed.
Ensure resident safety and satisfaction are priorities, and account for the presence of all residents when leaving or returning to the community.
Prepare the bus for operation and coordinate necessary vehicle maintenance.
May be responsible for ensuring all vehicle license plates, inspection tags, and insurance cards are current and displayed properly per local and state policy.
Follow and understand the rules of the road and transportation safety procedures.
Maintain current driving license per state regulations to perform transportation services.
Assist in the resident programs as needed with resident activities and special events set-up.
If you have these qualifications, we'd love to chat:
A positive team player mentality and passion for serving seniors!
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid state driver's license with passenger endorsement.
Clean driving record.
Experience in the operation of large vehicles; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
A minimum of one year of driving in transportation services is preferred, ideally in the retirement or hospitality industries, with a proven track record of focus on customer service.
