Box Truck Driver

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a customer service-focused position requiring a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The role involves working closely with a fellow team member to ensure efficient and timely deliveries to our valued customers throughout the Richmond area.
Hours:
8:30 AM until the route is completed (finish time may vary based on daily workload).
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service during every delivery, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
• Operate a 46-foot box truck while adhering to safety standards and performing routine vehicle safety checks.
• Use GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and timely deliveries.
• Safely and accurately deliver merchandise to customers, handling all goods with care to avoid damage.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, following safety procedures to prevent injury.
• Work collaboratively with your driving partner, ensuring seamless operations and effective communication on the job.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a delivery driver role, preferably with experience driving larger vehicles such as box trucks.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and the ability to follow mapped routes efficiently.
• Commitment to safety, both in operating vehicles and handling merchandise.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Team player mentality, able to work well with a partner during deliveries.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to handle merchandise with extreme caution to prevent damage during transportation.
