Summary
Responsible for the safe operation of company vehicles and the delivery of products to the customer locations. This includes maintaining the proper licensing to operate the required vehicles. Persons in this job must maintain a driving record in good standing and comply with all regulatory requirements for a commercial driver.
Role and Responsibilities:
•Safely operate commercial classified vehicles.
•Perform and record DOT and other governmental required inspections.
•Complete paperwork as necessary and in a timely manner.
•Load and unload truck as necessary to deliver product to customers.
•Use of lift-trucks when necessary.
•Interact with plant personnel and customer staff as necessary to perform delivery.

Education/Experience Level, Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations:
•High School diploma required.
•Three years commercial driving experience preferred.
Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Bi-lingual language skills preferred.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Computer Skills:
•Ability to read computer generated reports preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
•CA CDL-Class A certification with no restrictions.
•Current DOT Medical Certification.
•Less than 2 driving points on Driving Record.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment:
•Cold working environment (approx. 37F)
•Physical hazards of working in and about moving machinery. Must be cognizant of body and limbs so as to not be too close to machinery.

•Understanding basic concepts of food borne illness.
•Secure outbound and inbound loads are secured as outlined in company policy.
