Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Dickinson, ND

**Must-Have:**
- BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications
- 2 years of experience in labor and delivery
**Job Description:**
- Work in a department with 4 labor and delivery beds and 7 postpartum beds.
- Adhere to staffing ratios according to professional guidelines: Labor 1:1-2, Postpartum 1:2-3.
- Handle common diagnoses and patient types including >35 weeks in labor and Mom/Baby couplets.
- Titrate drips as needed in Antepartum/Labor, including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and others.
- Postpartum medication management with common medications like Prenatal vitamin, Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen, and others.
- Work with neonatal respiratory equipment, including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow, primarily troubleshooting.
- Utilize the EFM System - OB Trace Vue for fetal monitoring.
- Participate in block scheduling with shifts from 7-7.
- Work every third weekend and adhere to holiday requirements as per availability.
- Float to other departments like MSP/ED for assistance, primarily in 1:1 patient sitting.
- Scrubs will be provided.
- Complete three 12-hour shifts of unit/department-specific orientation.
- Engage in a rural hospital setting, more than an hour away from the nearest NICU, with limited services.
- Success in this role requires teamwork, provider consistency, knowledge, independence, and good communication skills.
- Assist in C-sections by circulating for the baby, while surgery handles the procedure.
- Additional request for time off needs upfront notification within set contractual limits.
