Driver Dispatch Manager

Job Summary
The Dispatch Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the logistics and transportation operations within our organization. This position is responsible for coordinating and dispatching our drivers to pick up our private clients (flight attendants and pilots) and transporting them between the airports and hotels, ensuring timely transport. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, a thorough understanding of supply chain processes, and experience with transportation management software systems. The candidate must have flexible availability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.

Duties

1. Oversee daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient and timely service to clients.
2. Manage scheduling and routing of clients.
3. Utilize our various associated software and applications for data entry and tracking.
4. Ensure Dispatchers maintain communication with drivers and clients to provide updates on trip status.
5. Implement best practices in fleet management to optimize resource utilization.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all transportation activities.
7. Analyze data to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.
8. Train and mentor dispatch staff on phone etiquette, internal and external customer service, logistics processes, and system usage.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in logistics or transportation management.
2. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles or related operations.
3. Proficiency in the use of computer software systems and associated mobile device applications.
4. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients, dispatchers, and drivers.
5. Ability to perform accurate data entry with attention to detail.
6. Familiarity with airline practices is a plus.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
8. A degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,256.00 - $80,000.00 per year
