Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Swing Shift Forklift Operator to join our team.
This is an entry level position that will move into the Boiler-Kiln Apprenticeship program . The selected candidate will advance through the Boiler-Kiln work up steps, attend the required training and accrue the required hours in the program before reaching the top level.
You’ll be a great fit if you can:
- Conduct required pre-operating checks on forklift, prior to use.
- Consistently keep a production level of work pace.
- Operate a forklift to load and unload kilns, change kilns, and dump hopper.
- Safety-conscious by following protocols and reporting hazards to ensure a safe work environment.

- A High school diploma or GED.
- A Forklift Certification
- The ability to communicate effectively.
- The ability to work in a team environment.
- To adapt to various weather conditions, loud conditions, and airborne particles (sawdust) as we are working in a loud, industrial, sawmill!
- A Valid driver’s license
- To pass a hair follicle drug test, a physical, and a background check
- Previous boiler/kiln experience.
- A Boiler license.
