The Trainer position handles all trainings, testing (both written and physical) in the warehouse. This position requires and extreme safety awareness, understanding the PKMS, WMS system as it relates to all operational task, and requires a commitment for accuracy.\ Responsibilities\ \Specific Shift Days/Times \ Mon-Thur 5pm-3:30amMust successfully complete and pass the equipment trainer/turret operator training course written exam and hands on evaluation.Turret, Reach, Dock Truck, Electric Pallet Jack certification requiredEnsure the safe handling of equipment at all timesFollow all operating guidelines and safety expectations as they relate to the handling of all equipment.Ensure the placement of all pallets within the racking does not impede the required 6flue spaceMaintain the minimum KPI standards PPH pallet per hours productivity for the position after a reasonable training time expiresCompletes each task physically and systematically in a timely manner and is systematic orderOperates under their assigned sign/log on in their tasking group at all times Conduct all equipment operators evaluationsConduct all operators certification trainingProvides daily reminders of safety policies & OSHA regulationsImplements monthly OSHA training in all departments and providing accurate records to the officeFacility weekly housekeeping audits and reportingValidates daily audits in the battery changing areaEquipment hands on training for new hiresFacilitates the Safety Committee Meetings twice a month to discuss Safety concerns from each departmentEnsures Monthly Harness / Lanyard Inspections are done monthlyEnsures Monthly Fire extinguisher inspections are done monthly by HBI during our monthly audit (when needed)Monthly Lighting Inspections (check process)Ensures Monthly Fan Inspections are done by HBI during our monthly auditBaler/Compactor training and certificationPrescreens equipment operators for HRSchedule training for Triennial certificationUpdate Equipment Training Matrix spreadsheetSend out the Equipment Training Matrix via email to managementKeeps data share files up to dateUpdates driver documentation and certification cardRecord keeping for the day to day operationIdentifies opportunities for improvement within the safety training process.PITCO re-certification, near-miss & additional training required by driversReplacement of lost certification cardsWeekly (one trainer minimum) Facility safety evaluation: identify opportunities to improve safety in the facility (Stand in the circle exercise)
