Yard Truck Driver / Bin Tender
Job Location: Biewer Lumber in Prentice, WI
Job Type: Part-time
Shift Schedule: Fridays, 4:30am-4:30pm and vacation fill-ins
Salary: $21-23/hr DOE
** Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
Yard Truck Driver / Bin Tender Job Duties:
Raw Material Material Mixing and Intake Process
- Move semi-trailers to proper locations within the manufacturing facility
- Load shavings from overhead bins into open top trailers
- Communicate with co-workers regarding status of work flow
- Other accountabilities as required
Yard Truck Driver / Bin Tender Requirements
- No CDL required
- One to two years' experience in an industrial setting highly preferred
- Good eye, hand and foot coordination
- Will need to withstand extreme climate conditions as this position is outside
- Will need to concentrate for extended periods of time and multi-task
- Will need to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis and stand and sit for long periods of time
- Will need to climb up and down stairs with no fear of confined spaces or heights
- Requires the ability to do simple math calculations, use basic tools, and exhibit mechanical aptitude when conducting loader maintenance
