Forklift Operator ($500 Sign on Bonus)The Forklift Operator will be a key contributor to the success of the Company by ensuring a smooth, predictable, and efficient flow of materials and products from beginning to end. The Warehouse Associate will fill, communicate, and execute clear production schedules.Essential Job Duties andResponsibilitiesStock inventory including raw materials, work-in-process and finished goods in the cooler, freezer, and dry warehouses.Initial point of material accuracy verification for material received from production.Responsible for cycle counts, relaying cycle count, and other pertinent information to the Warehouse Manager, Shift Lead, and Production Line Manager when necessary.Provide materials delivery service to Production Operations to ensure production lines are supplied at all times to minimize downtime and other inefficiencies. (i.e. ensure raw materials moved into position to ensure production schedule is met.)Load and unload trucks, safely, utilizing material handling equipment.Load outgoing trucks, accurately and completely recording shipping records and maintaining outgoing records.Maintain cleanliness and neat appearance of the dry goods warehouse and freezer storage area.Work with team members efficiently and effectively.RequirementsEducation and Experience1 to 3 years or more work experience in food manufacturing, supply chain or related area strongly preferred.1 to 3 years or more work experience in a WarehouseMust have valid Current Drivers LicenseAbility to operate a stand-up forklift and electric pallet jack, preferredSkills and AbilitiesMust be able to follow established guidelines, policies and procedures including scheduling and similar activities.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and workload effectively.Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.Team player with a positive, helpful attitude.
