Wheelchair Transport Driver - Job Description
The purpose of the Wheelchair Transport Driver is to help provide the best ride and service to our customers in order for them to lead a fulfilling life. Full time hours are guaranteed. Overtime available but not guaranteed. Various shifts available.
Job Responsibilities:
- Transport clients to and from medical appointments/facilities/hospital via wheelchair or stretcher
- Frequent push people and equipment of 100+ pounds
- Safely operate company vans
Job Qualifications:
- Must be a safe driver, with a clean driving record
- Must be able to speak, write, and comprehend English language
- One (1) year full-time customer service-oriented experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Commercial driving experience preferred but not required
- Drivers license for a minimum of 5 years
- Must be a friendly, courteous, and compassionate team player with positive attitude, even in high pressure situations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to safely lift clients weighing more than 250 pounds with assistance
- Desire and ability to adhere to Wheelchair Transport Service high standard of customer service
- Ability to pass level 2 background check through AHCA
Licenses and/or Certifications:
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or obtain prior to hire)
- All required certifications must remain current and active.
- Valid Florida driver license with a driving record acceptable to company policy and insurance program requirements.
- DOT physical

Pay:
