Subject to working nights, weekends and holidays while on-call or in an emergency response. Must o btain a TWIC card within 60 days of hire.Essential Functions:Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all timesDrive trucks with capacities greater than 10 tons to transport and deliver oil and/or gasPick up waste oil at customer locations such as garages, gas stations, automotive dealerships, quick-change oil companies, fleet maintenance facilities, bus companies, airports, and rental car companies.Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations, and obey all traffic lawsCheck the truck to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working orderRead bills of lading to determine assignment detailsReport defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the tractor and/or trailerPump out tanks and drums using hoses similar to an oil pumping truckObtain receipts, payment, or signatures for services when requiredPerform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid to truckSubject to random DOT drug and alcohol screens and regulationsMaintain a valid Florida commercial driver's license and medical cert cardPerforms other duties and tasks as assignedMinimum Requirements:Class B CDL requiredAt least 1 year of commercial driving experienceAir Brakes, Hazmat endorsementPrefer candidates with heavy haul oil or gasoline experienceHS Diploma or equivalentBenefits:Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision Insurance401kLife InsurancePaid Time OffEmployee Assistant ProgramReferral ProgramSign-on BonusPhysical DemandsThe employee is frequently required to stand, sit, stoop or walk in the performance of essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
