Effective communication with the Dispatcher and Loader Operator is essential for safe and timely loading and deliveries. Truck Drivers must complete all required paperwork accurately, including logs, bills of lading, weight tickets, timesheets, and inspection records.Key Accountabilities:Safe and efficient operation of trucksZero time-loss accidentsMeeting or exceeding weekly load goalsAccurate, legible, and timely submission of Bills of Lading and Weight TicketsCompliance with regulatory standards and submission of accurate information to office administration and managementOther Essential Functions:Accurate and timely completion of logsDaily truck and trailer inspections and servicing to maintain equipment in good operating conditionImmediate notification to the shop of any repair needsClear communication with Dispatcher and Loader OperatorProfessional conduct with customers, growers, and other driversAssisting with housekeeping standards in stack yards, including moving tarps and sorting stacksOther duties as assignedQualifications:Class A CDL with doubles endorsement and current medical cardGood MVR/Driving record and insurableMinimum of two years trucking experience, preferably with hay or agricultural commoditiesAbility to follow dispatching directions and read a mapClear communication skills by radio and phoneInitiative and attention to detailVerbal and written communication skills in English (bilingual in Spanish a plus)Reliable, punctual, and available for varying start times and extra shifts as neededAbility to strap loads to meet standard requirementsPhysical Requirements:Lifting/Carrying: 50 lbs. frequentlyGrasping: constantlyClimbing Stairs: regularlyClimbing Ladders: occasionallyBending/Kneeling: occasionallySitting: constantlyWalking/Standing: regularlyRepetitive Motion (steering, reaching, operating gears and foot pedals): constantlyThrowing (loading strap/securing load): regularlyHearing (able to hear and respond to verbal instructions and audible alarms/sirens): constantlyVision (close, distant, color, depth): constantlyMonday-Friday Day Shift; Weekend and Holidays when needed based on business levels.40 Plus Hours per WeekCompensation details: 68000-75000 Yearly SalaryPI966b8fccf6b9-26289-35972849
