This role is responsible for the timely movement of equipment to and from warehouse to events for the purpose of flawless execution. This position requires strong driving and coordination skills.This position will support our Audio Visual & Event Technology team. The position follows an in-person schedule working full-time in-office and/or show-site based out of Austin, TX.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with all truck moves, including tractor-trailers and straight truck needsAssist with proper loading and unloading of company trucksAssist with various warehouse tasks as directed by the supervisorOperate in a safe manner, obeying all local/state/federal regulations and all company safety policiesFulfill all Department of Transportation requirements, including periodic medical evaluations, completing forms for driver qualification file, hours-of-service and vehicle inspection logsMaintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructionsPerform other duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceMust be at least 21 years of age in order to apply to this jobHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrefer 1 year driving experiencePrefer CDL A or B, but not necessaryCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust have a valid Driver’s license for vehicles 26,000 pounds and less.Must have or have the ability to obtain Department of Transportation Medical Certificate.Travel RequirementsTravel up to 25%What We OfferFreeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
