Van Driver

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly responsible and reliable Van Driver to join our team at Hampton Inn Columbus Airport. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for our guests to and from the airport and other local destinations. You will play a critical role in ensuring our guests have a positive experience during their stay with us.
Minimum Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to read and write
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to operate a hand cart

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with frail elderly guests
• Knowledge of floor care and maintenance
• Strong personal hygiene practices
• Visual acuity to operate a vehicle safely

Responsibilities:

• Transport guests to and from the airport and other local destinations in a safe and efficient manner
• Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
• Maintain a clean and organized van interior
• Provide excellent customer service to our guests

Skills:
As a Van Driver, you will use your communication skills to interact with guests and provide excellent customer service. You will also use your driving skills to safely transport guests to their destinations. In addition, you will use your organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized van interior. Your knowledge of floor care and maintenance will also come in handy when keeping the van clean. Finally, your attention to detail will be critical when performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
