Responsibilities:
- Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards
- Completes all paperwork according to established company and governmental guidelines, ensures all food safety protocols are met, and develops good relationships with customers
Required Education/Experience:
- High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to drive a tractor-trailer unit in a variety of conditions, communicate with customers, and solve problems; must be able to lift and move heavy products and work in varying weather and work environments
Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, push, or move product that weighs up to 50 pounds by hand and push/pull up to 350 pounds of product with a hand cart; must have specific vision abilities and be able to adjust to varying work conditions
Work Environment: May be exposed to varying work conditions and noise levels; must be able to work overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
