Boom Crane CDL Driver

Overview: As a Boom Crane CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials to job sites, primarily handling wall panels and trusses requiring oversized load permits. You will also inspect and maintain the truck, assist with loading and storing materials, and may operate various types of cranes or booms.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe operation at all times.
• Maintain positive work environment.
• Hold a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
• Prepare DOT required log of time on duty and driving.
• Organize and secure load and assist with loading.
• Check orders for accuracy and deliver materials to customers' satisfaction.
• Complete daily equipment pre-inspection and record returned merchandise for credit.
• Follow Department of Transportation guidelines and provide excellent customer service.
• Comply with company policies and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of truck and supervise work of associates involved in operations.
• Complete assigned trainings and participate in stocking duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Less than 1 year CDL experience preferred.
• 1-3 years CDL experience required for interstate commerce.
• Basic math and communication skills.
• Current Class A or B CDL License.
• Certified Drill Rig Operator preferred.
