The Vice President, Project Delivery - Advanced Technology
Facilities is responsible for overseeing a
construction project portfolio of up to $7 billion. This
role is responsible for ensuring that construction projects
align with organizational goals, adhere to EHS
standards, and achieve high levels of customer
satisfaction. Responsibilities include driving construction
project delivery, managing resources, conducting reviews, and
providing strategic direction.
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee and manage the execution of a diverse construction
portfolio of projects totaling approximately $7 billion.
- Ensure projects are delivered in alignment with
organizational objectives and strategic goals. Leadership in
Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS).
- Provide robust leadership and hands-on management for EHS
initiatives, including the implementation and advancement
of Exyte's Incident Free Workplace (IFW) program.
- Ensure all projects adhere to EHS standards and
regulations, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
- Drive construction project delivery to meet budget
constraints, timelines, and quality standards.
- Aim for high levels of customer satisfaction through
effective project execution and management. Resource
Forecasting and Management:
- Forecast, plan, and manage project resources, including the
detailed allocation, deployment, and demobilization of project
teams.
- Ensure optimal use of resources to support project
requirements and schedules.
- Conduct monthly project reviews, audits, and in-depth
analyses to monitor progress and performance.
- Provide timely interventions and corrective actions to
address any issues and ensure successful project completion.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for engineering,
procurement, and construction activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize project
delivery processes and achieve project goals.
- Utilize expertise in various project delivery models (e.g.,
AE/EP, EPCM, EPC, D/B, IPD) to strategically enhance project
delivery strategies.
- Optimize project outcomes through effective and efficient
delivery methods.
- Collaborate with the VP Engineering to prepare and review
ATF proposals, facilitating efficient project setup and
execution.
- Assist in the preparation of internal risk approval
processes and submissions to the Regional Risk Committee, and
Corporate Risk.
- Promote and adopt alternative technical and engineering
solutions such as OSM, modular, and turnkey approaches.
- Improve project outcomes and streamline processes through
innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain a collaborative environment to ensure
seamless coordination between Global Business Units
(GBUs), Regional Business Units (RBUs), and Regional Area
Operations.
- Facilitate effective liaison and alignment with corporate
standards and objectives.
- Oversee the implementation and use of Management and
Technical Management Systems (MMS, TMS, etc.) to streamline
construction project management processes and enhance
operational efficiency.
- Manage and coach assigned staff, providing guidance,
development opportunities, and fostering a culture of
continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensure team members are equipped with the skills and
knowledge required for successful project delivery.
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Master's
preferred) in engineering, construction management, or related
field.
- Extensive Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in
integrated design-build and contracting projects, with a strong
background in advanced manufacturing facilities, preferably in
semiconductor environments.
- EPCM/EPC Expertise: Proven expertise in Engineering,
Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) or EPC
environments, demonstrating a successful track record in
delivering multi-project portfolios.
- Leadership in EHS: Strong leadership in Environmental,
Health, and Safety (EHS) practices within the construction
industry, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of
safety.
- Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor
teams, foster collaboration, and create high-performing work
environments.
- Project Excellence: Consistent track record of achieving
project excellence outcomes, with a focus on quality,
timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Stakeholder Management: Experience in effectively managing
customer and stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and
satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
- Supply Chain and Subcontractor Management:Proven experience
in managing supply chain and subcontractor relationships,
optimizing performance and resolving issues efficiently
