This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. What It's Like
The mission of T-Mobile's Platform Delivery & Automation team is to facilitate the rapid delivery of on-premises and private cloud solutions, empowering developers and application teams with scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure. We excel in supporting and automating complex virtualized, bare-metal and AI-enabled solutions, challenging the status quo, and consistently focusing on delivering value to our customer base.
What You'll Do
You will closely partner with members of the Platform Delivery & Automation team to build-out custom solutions and tooling to support the delivery of a host of services ranging from virtual machines on kubevirt, bare-metal compute, and AI platforms (Nvidia, RHEL AI, etc) within our datacenters and edge sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with subject matter experts to develop new toolsets and custom software solutions to provide on-demand self-service infrastructure solutions within T-Mobile datacenters, providing an AWS like experience on-premises.
What It Takes
* A strong desire to learn.
* Experience with AI/ML solutions such as Run, Determined, Vertex or other solutions.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions like Terraform, Open Tofu, Ansible or other solutions
* Experience with Kubernetes
* Experience with Python, Ruby, Groovy or other programming language(s)
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
