Randstad is hiring for a well known company in the Knoxville area! You must have 6 months of stand up forklift experience in order to qualify. You will be on the forklift for only parts of the day then moving material around and loading trucks with a pallet jack. This position is Monday-Thursday 5:30AM-4PM with some overtime on Friday. Responsibilities
Responsibilities Include:
Moving and storing materials: Safely and efficiently move and store materials in the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, shelves, and other storage areas.
Stacking products: Stack products throughout the warehouse, including stacking empty pallets to maximize space.
Inventory control: Work with inventory control workers to scan shipments, maintain records, and rotate stock.
Safety: Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and physical work practices. Inspect the equipment before every use, including the brakes, steering wheel, and forks.
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean work area and operation record.
Reporting errors: Report errors to the warehouse manager.
General support: Provide general support to the warehouse.
The essential functions of this role include:
