Travel Nurse RN - Labor/Delivery in Montgomery, AL

**Must-Have:** Experience with pregnant patients including conditions such as PIH, HELLP, multiples, and Preeclampsia/eclampsia
**Job Description:**
- Care for patients in a 16-bed Labor & Delivery unit, 8-bed Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED), and 10-bed Antepartum unit.
- Maintain patient ratios of Labor 1:2, OBED 1:3, and Antepartum 1:4.
- Ability to perform lab draws; supported by lab staff if needed.
- Responsibilities include placing IVs and utilizing vascular access teams as necessary.
- Utilize technology including Cerner/Fetalink EMR, Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and GE fetal monitors/Spacelabs.
- Float between areas of Labor & Delivery, OBED, and Antepartum as needed.
- Manage weekend rotations every other weekend.
- Holiday work includes one major (eve and day) and one minor summer holiday assignment.
- Schedule cycle operates on a 4-week rotating schedule.
- Complete orientation consisting of three 12-hour shifts.
- Support staff includes CNAs, receptionists/HUCs, charge nurses, and a 24/7 OB hospitalist.
