The Craft Beer Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading trucks, and providing exceptional customer service to The Beer Guy’s customer base. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company vehicles, including daily DOT mandated pre/post-trip inspection
  • Maintain courteous and professional attitude towards customers and the general public at accounts or on the road
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Lawson’s Finest Liquids products while interacting with accounts
  • Accurately use the mobile ERP system in a timely manner
  • Accurately deliver pre-sold products to accounts
  • Rotate stock and place products on shelves, racks, displays and in coolers
  • Identify out of code product and apply invoice credit when applicable
  • Perform positively within a team-oriented environment where close contact with fellow drivers is required
  • Build palleted orders for future deliveries
  • Load, account for, and apply invoice credit for empty kegs and/or cans on trucks for return to supplier as needed

Requirements

Requirements & Expectations:

  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Ability to ascend and descend stairs
  • Ability to bend, squat, stoop, push, kneel and reach
  • Ability to push and pull two wheeled hand trucks and pallet jacks
  • Ability to work in wet and cold environments
  • Ability to stay alert and attentive while operating a delivery truck
  • Valid and clean CDL driver’s license or ability to obtain CDL within 6 months of employment
  • Experience driving box trucks preferred, but willing to train
  • Experience driving in winter conditions
  • Knowledge of workplace safety and distribution
  • Multi-stop routing experience as plus, but willing to train
  • Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and motor vehicle records review

Compensation:

This is a full-time position and starting pay will be commensurate with experience. Benefits include paid time-off, paid holidays, profit sharing, and company medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans among others.
